Ireland and its Economy: No Wisdom – And No Common Sense

Quoting from a working paper (William Thompson Working Papers, 7) wrote more or less long time ago: “….in November 1958 the government put forward a document under the title Programme for Economic Expansion … ” and then looking at the Financial Times from today (I refer to the print version, page 2 and assume that this is the same article here), what gets clear at least is that there is no sign yet that the Irish government will have sufficiently learned that some things simply don’t work.
